This investment property was rented for over 20 years and needed renovating and to be freshened up for the real estate market. The project brief was to make it move-in ready and of good entry-level standard, tidy low maintenance approach, enhancing the nice qualities but not overcapitalising. ‘Easy care’ and ‘modern’ were important— first home buyers can struggle to get finance, and most don’t want to put aside additional finance for extra repairs or renovations. A wonderful outcome. The owners received offers soon after putting it to market.
